About Us

The success the Rhondda Netball initiative has had since 2016, and the way that the charity has been able to encourage so many females to get into sport/netball, was always going to lead to greater opportunities for performance-focused netball in Rhondda and beyond.

The RCT Rockets grabbed the opportunity, and our first team took to the court at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, with this inaugural team going straight into Division 1 of the A470 Netball League.

With significant improvements made to our infrastructure across 2018/19 after a successful first year, the RCT Rockets grew to incorporate eight teams from Under 9’s – Seniors and our senior team won the A470 Netball League title.

2019/20 saw further developments when Dave & Darren at Riskmonitor got behind our 3-year vision to see our teams compete with the very best netball clubs in Wales.
